With a maternal grandfather who was a respected kirtankar and a father who continues to perform kirtans across India’s renowned temples and sacred spaces, music became an emotional and spiritual language in her life from an early age. Trained in Hindustani classical music under Pandit Manohar Joshi of the Gwalior Gharana, Ashwini has evolved into a versatile vocalist whose artistry bridges classical discipline with contemporary musical expression.
